'SimCity Social' launches on Facebook

The game has been made by Maxis, the original SimCity studio, and Playfish, Electronic Arts' social gaming specialists.

As such, it has over 20 years of development history to draw on -- much like another iconic leadership game, Civilization, and its 2011 foray onto Facebook via Civilization World.
