Each has been optimized for use with widescreen and standard displays, iPhones, iPads, Blackberries, PSPs and Vitas, or as Facebook timeline banners and thumbnail avatars.

For some fans, the slow-trickle release of promotional material for "Grand Theft Auto V" will prove to be moving along at an agonizingly slow pace, especially considering the game's likely and increasingly imminent debut in May.

Predecessor "Grand Theft Auto IV," released in 2007, set records in terms of first day and first week sales, records that were since broken by entries to the "Call of Duty" series.
