The Old Republic is Bioware's first foray into the MMO industry, and is widely anticipated by gamers around the world. The first Star Wars MMO - Star Wars Galaxies was widely considered a flop.
Can TOR unseat World of Warcraft as the king of MMOs? Only time will tell. This is a high stakes venture for Bioware and EA though, and if this game flops, heads will roll.
