Nintendo teases fans with Wii U guessing game
Three lines of obscured characters have been pasted up on the Wii U page, ahead of Nintendo's show at the Electronic Entertainment Expo on Tuesday, June 5, in Los Angeles.
One of them is 33 characters long, the second's 27 characters, and the third is 19 characters in length.
Some fans think they've already figured out the brain-teaser, suggesting The Legend of Zelda HD Collection or The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD as the longer name, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii U as the medium length title.
Nintendo had already shown an experimental New Super Mario Bros. Mii at last year's E3, while the introduction of 3DS Zelda remake Ocarina of Time 3D was credited with revitalizing sales of Nintendo's then-struggling handheld.
Candidates for the shorter name include Kirby's Adventure 2, Super Smash Bros. U, Lego City Stories U and Batman: Arkham City.
