Nintendo Direct webcast scheduled for June 21/22

The North American broadcast is timed for June 21 9pm PT/June 22 12am ET, the European equivalent for June 22 5am BST and 6am Central Europe, and Japan's version for 11am Malaysia/Singapore and 12 noon Japan time.

The video segments will be carried by UStream and embedded on Nintendo's regional websites, with the pre-recorded footage then posted to YouTube and the Nintendo eShop, and Twitter accounts supporting the event with live tweets of key announcements.

No word as to what those would be, but upcoming 3DS games include Time Travelers (from the developers of Professor Layton), the retro-style Pocket Soccer League: Calciobit (mentioned in April's Nintendo Direct), and the beautifully presented role-playing game Bravely Default: Flying Fairy.

On Nintendo's in-house slate, but given a decent amount of exposure during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, are New Super Mario Bros 2, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

Sony is still yet to confirm a date for the second PS Vita Heaven video event that, back in May, had been announced for sometime in June.
